Thursday, the 5th of november, Dumar Novy will read selected chapters from his recently published book „What Do One Million Ja Tags Signify?“. The reading will at Miss Hecker starting 8 o clock.
In „What Do One Million Ja Tags Signify?“ Novy is circling his graffiti obsession with the help of the New York graffiti-legend JA One. JA is present on the city’s wall since 30 years and is therefore representing the past and present of the graffit culture in a mythical but also practical sense.
Through anecdotical and surrealistic thought-experiments Novy not only talks about graffiti, but also cultural and literary radical studies.
